With Melky out for the season, I think the Giants may go after Soriano.
Heyman says so too, but Soriano already told Cubs he wouldn't accept a trade there.
"San Francisco is not good weather to play in. It's on the West Coast and I've never played on the West Coast. We'll see what happens if they call. I'll talk to my family then and see. It's not my call. I know it's 50 percent of my call, but it's my family's [call] too. I'd talk to my family and see what happens."
Som players are not all about winning and will do what's best for their family. It does not sound ideal, but it's true and good in ways too.
Also, players just love Chicago and don't want to leave (no bias).
