1. History
2. Winning Tradition
3. Cool Uniform/Nickname
4. Location/City
5. Notable star players
Sidenote: No Manchester teams
Post your case and I'll decide by the end of the day

Man City:
1. History: Founded in 1880
2. Winning Tradition: Two previous First Division Titles, 1936-37 and 1967-68, won first Premiership 2011-12. Also have won second and third division titles as recently as the early 2000's and late 1990's, so they haven't been dominant forever, but you still want a team that is good now. Unlike picking United, this isn't the same as rooting for Yankees, Canadiens, Packers, etc.
3. Cool Uniform/Nickname: Sick logo
4. Location/City: Manchester
5. Notable star players: Balotelli :yeah:

Think Tottenham Hotspurs would be a decent choice for your criteria

I'll go for any team that could finally knock off United, glad to see a new champion.

can't we just be friends like before? :D :hi5: I don't hate City by any means, just like Arsenal

Ya this is a tough one if you do not know much about England or have any connections there. I went with my Family heritage and traced it back to Bilbao, Spain. So I root for Athletic Club Bilbao. My brother went to London for school and became a Fulham fan. There are alot of bad ass teams in there too that may never win alot you could look into. As far as EPL goes for me, I am a Spain fan (Yes, way b4 they won the World Cup) so I liked Liverpool because Torres was there. He is now at Chelsea, so I guess I root for them until furthur notice. Other than that I do not hail a team from EPL. You could take the easy way out and just pick one of the teams that are always in it, or search for players that you like. Word on the street is Dempsy wants to go to a Champions league team. It would give an American a fairly good reason to like whatever particular team he lands on.

wow you're brother is lucky he had the opportunity to go study in London! I can't say I really know any players, but I already made my choice above with Arsenal, one of my good friends likes them and DP likes them :highfive: AND it slightly annoys Jntg :troll:
