Yeah, their categories were also somewhat subjective. From personal experience I can better recall players of certain ethnicities getting the "scrappy" or "gritty" label more so than other ethnicities though I obviously haven't spent as much time as these guys documenting it. So I don't think they're necessarily wrong, but at the same time because this is a study of how opinions vary on players of different creeds I'm not entirely sure how they could control for that subjectivity.

It would be more appropriate if they were actually comparables on Baseball-Reference :D

It's like football combine/draft..

How come there's always the white guy that has a "high motor"?

There's race everywhere.. which is unfortunate.. It should just be based on what you do and how well you do it. Not what you look like as a qualifier.
