Now going to the game on sunday before the fire match, have to get off for 4 though! Chuffed I get to see Cain pitch and a wrigley day game

Hey, maybe Volstad will go on a 9 game win streak now.

Even the sketchy Freak could probably shut us down.

And yeah, I am not sure about this match up. Perfecto numero dos for Cain?

Cain is a flyball-heavy pitcher but he has an uncanny ability of keeping the ball in the park anyway. I think this one depends on whether the wind blows out. I also don't think he can throw another perfect game. DeJesus and Brett Jackson in particular have a pretty good eye and even if they can't put a ball in play they might draw a walk or two.

But that's why they play the games :D

I like the part where there are two automatic outs at the top of the lineup.

Looking at the weather, the two games this weekend might be doubtful? When would they be re-arranged for if they do get postponed?

May try to do a doubleheader. If the Giants finish within a half-game of the Dodgers it would definitely have to be made up on a mutual off-day.

I thought that, but the only other day to do a doubleheader in the next few days would be sunday if tomorrow goes, and if sunday's is postponed then I will have wasted money on the tickets haha

I hope you paid for them via a broker or at least didn't pay full price. But since the Giants don't come back to Chicago I think the Saturday game will be played after a delay and the Sunday game will be the same. The Giants do have to fly home to face Arizona on Monday though so they can't wait too long on Sunday.

Got them via stubhub for $20 each. Will be useless if the sunday game is delayed anyway, cos we have to shoot off to the Fire game
