Having an explosive running game (to score, control the clock, keeping the opponents offense cold & off of the field [while resting your defense) and a dominant defense is one of the greatest things about being a balanced team. There’s no pressure on any particular phase. For example; Peyton Manning will pass a lot during this season, a compensation for missed time & cohesive lack with his core. But Jay Cutler is not in that situation, and he’s comfortably surrounded by big playmakers in all phases hence; Jay Cutler can play team ball through the ship.
The offensive Line is not the issue in our running game, or the lack thereof; it is Matt Forte and his lack of patience, a quintessential element in vision. Every year Matt Forte has a one –two game struggle with yardage early in the season, running head on into the line without relying on his escort to break. When his vision does kick in, it’s explosive!
The Game is Won in the Fourth Quarter.
Go Bears!!!!!!!!!!!!
