I could see FSU overlooking us and Lynch and co being fired up with Doeren leaving. But I could also see it being ugly because FSU has more talent.

1. I don't think anyone is "blaming" NIU, they are just using NIU as the glaring example of why the system blows.
2. NIU played a fucking awful schedule(ranked by Saragin as the 127th ranked schedule in the nation) NIU lost to Iowa(!), scraped by Kansas and Army, and their "marquee win" is over a Kent St team that got throttled by a 2-10 Kentucky team. It's obviously good for NIU but they are easily the weakest non-AQ to ever get in and their resume is awful.

I can, unfortunately it's against my favorite team since 1984...grew up a huge Bobby Bowden fan.
However, NIU needs this win more and they're local sooo...go Huskies!.

Yeah. Bum teams are in the BCS sometimes from AQ conferences but I'm discussing NIU here. I'm not going to defend Wiscy's inclusion.

NIU probably is the weakest BCS team though that Hawaii team in 07 wasn't that great either. However, if it was about getting the best teams in than the 2 from a conference rule wouldn't be in place because really it should be ND, about 5 SEC schools and a couple from the Big XII and PAC 12.
Either way, hopefully NIU can take advantage of FSU overlooking the team because the game could get ugly. I would love it if they could pull it off, but of course the narrative would be how FSU blew it.
