I know whenever Virginia dies this family full Of fredos will be quick to sell the team for a nice payday. Maybe then we can get a owner who won't force the team to function like we are still in the era of George Halas. Maybe we can get coaches who understand the forward past and the concept of an offensive that can block. And Just maybe we can win another Super Bowl

You'd be better off switching alliances to a different team than holding your breath waiting for the McCaskeys to sell. At least they're no longer managing the day-to-day stuff.

I don't see them selling either, but I keep wondering what it would be like at Halas Hall without Sweaty Teddy. I think there are far too many layers at Halas Hall, and not enough competent football people making decisions, just my opinion though. Hopefully Emery represents real change and not more of the same BS. Me being the eternal cynic expect more of the same at Halas Hall despite the addition of Emory (unless Phillips gets fired).

This is one case where I really miss some of the info from the CBMB about how the trust and ownership works when something does happen to Virginia. Also, the way the inheritance tax laws have been changing; I don't think they will have much of a choice but to sell.

Also, when exactly is the current lease with Soldier field up?
