Also can I choose any of my relievers to be closer and bullpen one of my shitty starters if I wanted to?

I think it's based on stats at the start of 2012 which suggests all players will be projected heavily by their 2011 stats.

These rosters were downloaded as current as they are. Players skills are based at least by the postseason stats

Where are the pitching staffs for each team? Also, I'm assuming some of the players are minor leagues with the generated names. Is there any link online to their statistics so we know how to gauge our lineups?

Some have them and some don't. HGe'll get to them eventually, it may be eaiser to lost line-ups first and then go back.
