Yeah they did. Shit, do you want a team that doesn't know how to negotiate? Just crumble to every bit of pressure? Damn, they would repo the team, and the Bulls would be sold to an owner who would move the franchise to Kentucky under your logic.
 yeah right.
Whoever would buy the Bulls most likely would buy them BECAUSE THE CHICAGO MARKET WOULD BE A BIG FACTOR WITH ALL THE OTHER MANY REASONS TO PURCHASE THEM AND KEEP THEM IN CHICAGO........$$$$$$$$$
Oh yeah, and Another factor in keeping the Bulls in chicago is taking notice of how the Bulls have marketed themselves on the fact that Jordan and the CHICAGO bulls of the 1990s legend has kept there market strong for 15 years after the fact and because of that fact.........Why would a new owner want to move the Bulls when staying in Chicago would help the new Owner market his newly purchased Bulls for another 15 years based on the fact that Michael Jordan played here in CHICAGO in this building and won titles......The new owner would also like to make money on the Jordan era too.............IT STILL SELLS TO THIS DAY AND WILL FOR SOME TIME, RIGHT HERE IN CHICAGO WITH OR WITHOUT JERRY.
There would be no logic in purchasing the Bulls and moving them to Kentucky or any other place in the world..
The CHICAGO bulls name sells better than any....................
