During the off season last year, the Chicago Bulls’ management group essentially destroyed the original bench mob, trading Ronnie Brewer, C.J. Watson, Omer Asik, John Lucas III Brian Scalabrine and Kyle Korver. As you know, the Bulls traded Korver for a measly second round pick.

Korver, the sharpshooting specialist he is, moved into the starting five with the Atlanta Hawks and has been averaging more points with his team, scoring approximately 11 points per game and averaging 45% from three point range.

Though he’s taking more of a leadership role with his new team, Korver still misses elements he had with the Bulls. According to Shams Charania of Real GM, Korver said he would be willing to return to Chicago if they Bulls need his services.

“Totally, I would,” Korver told RealGM on Saturday night. “That’s a great organization, that’s an awesome jersey to put on. Great fans, good team. You only get to be a free agent so many times in a career, so I’ll definitely see what’s all there. But I would absolutely listen to what they’ve got to say.”

To replace Korver the Bulls signed Marco Belinelli formaly of the New Orleans Hornets. Though the Italian didn’t start the season as great as he could’ve, he improved over the course of time and is now averaging 14 points per 36 minutes and shooting 35% from three. Obviously not on Kyle Korver’s level, but it’s a great improvement nonetheless.

Though the Bulls signed Belinelli his contract isn’t guaranteed for next season. Kyle Korver however will become an unrestricted free agent this summer which now begs the question, would you like to see Kyle Korver back with the Bulls next season? Sound off in the comments below.

Yeah, he'' have to come for the min - mid exception. Since the Bulls have the same roster as they did when Korver was here. (meaning, why they let him go.) I there's a chance, but we'll just have to see. Hamilton is gone, so that opens a possibility.

I'll take Korver back in a heartbeat. Of course, as with everything here, price is an issue, but if he was open to "taking one for the team" and accepting a smaller valued deal to come back he could help us out big time.

I'd much rather have Redick over Korver, even with the discrepancy in salary. Redick would certainly cost more, but he's a better passer and a better defender. Plus, he's not a slouch when it comes to shooting, either.

This is true, but if it comes down to Redick at 10M/year or something ridiculous like what he'll probably demand or Korver even at his current 5M/year, I'd take Korver. He's a better shooter by far (though like you said Redick is still good). He's not a bad passer at all and he's showing what he can do given starters minutes in Atlanta. He plays within his limits. Redick is the better overall player, but Korver is probably better value at this point. I'm not saying he should be our starting 2 guard, but he's a good role player to have.
