Coach K is done coaching Team USA after winning 2 Gold Medals since taking over in 2005. Who do you think should replace him? Here's my list (in no real order):

-Gregg Popovich
-Doc Rivers
-Tom Thibodeau
-Frank Vogel
-George Karl
-Phil Jackson (if he still wants to coach "part-time")

I think I like Phil just because of the part time choice.

  1. Chicago Bulls
I'd love to see Jerry Sloan get the nod. Tom Izzo is also up there, I love him as a coach too.

Oh wow. I totally forgot about college guys. Ya, I'd be okay with Izzo. I'd imagine Calipari's name would surface as a replacement too. Maybe Pitino? Those are the only college coaches I can see coaching the NBA "elite". Izzo has prior experience w/ Team USA so that could help his candidacy.

I like Jerry Sloan, but I don't think he would be able to handle the egos on the team. I don't think the guys would respect him enough...especially if Deron Williams is on the roster.
