I think it was cheaper glass that broke, but I definitely think it was his voice (amplified by the mic) that broke it. :shrug:

I can definitely vouch for getting some funky tones through some PA systems. I've got a pair of these really high end studio monitor speakers (used for mixing) and I swear you hear things on 20 yr old CD's you've never heard before. However, every now and then it hits a certain note and it insanely tickles my ear. Very weird.
