I would like to know, not for the sake of knowing when Rose should be expected back, as much as to observe the advances in ACL surgeries. It wasn't all that long ago, when an ACL tear, meant retirement for most athletes.

Yeah okay...the media is jealous of his talent? WTF??? I can just imagine what would be said on these forums if other players on other teams voluntarily sat out when medically cleared to play. I remember Luol Deng catching more flack in 2009...and he had legitimate reason physically to sit out.
