From the sounds of it, he has been getting very few reps at the WR position. Do you think he will get traded soon? Some team will consider him valuable to their special teams unit.

If there is a trade to be made, yeah I think so. A 6-7 I think is all we could hope for though.

Or a player for player swap like we did last season with McManis

Maybe the Bears consider him valuable to their special teams unit?

Just don't see it. There is no roster room for him unless an injury moves him up.

There is a few spots here where a player can be dropped like FB, TE, etc. I don't even have Hayden listed and that makes 54. Injuries of course will tweak the roster.

QB - Cutler, McCown, Blanchard
RB - Forte, Bush, Allen, Fiametta
TE - Bennett, Maneri, Onobun
OT - Bushrod, Webb, Scott, Mills
OG - Long, Brown, Slauson, Britton, Garza
WR - Marshall, Jeffery, Bennett, Aromoshadu, Anderson, Wilson
K - Gould
LS - Mannelly
KR/PR - Hester
P - Podlesh or Way
CB - Tillman, Jennings, Frey, Bowman, McManis
S - Wright, Conte, Steltz, Hardin, Walters
DE - Peppers, McClellin, Wooton, Washington, Ozougwu
DT - Melton, Paea, Collins, Minter
LB - Briggs, Bostic, Williams, Greene, Anderson

Emery signed Weems when he could have extended Hester. I'm sure he'll get a shot to show his worth as a returner.

I don't think they will keep 5 safeties. I think j.t. Thomas makes it over Walters

I keep forgetting JT Thomas is on the Bears.

...and So Does J.T........?! puff puff

Weems is on the bubble and replaceable (Michael Ford) He's a Special Teams beast....so I am not concerned with him getting reps at WR....but the numbers are not breaking with him as far as making the 53. Will come down to Coach Joe DeCamillis ... is Weems "his guy" for this year's ST squad....?!

Better call Emery so he doesn`t forget.
