The situation with Suarez is even worse... There is just no loyalty these days in football

Yep, and the Liverpool/Red Sox ownership says that they won't let Suarez goal as they don't have time to get a replacement.

Yep that's what it seems like. It's what preventing me from getting too into club soccer.

I actually think it happens in many sports but football is the worst, really. Liverpool only have seen 3 of their best strikers in the last decade walk away. Owen, Torres, Suarez. Although the last one seems to be staying - not because he wants, but because we won't sell him.

Haha true. It's more the big names in soccer always seem to be on the move, whereas in other sports the big names usually stay on one or two teams in their career.

Suarez staying at Liverpool now, sets a precedent for the team beating out the player's wishes.

Yep, Suarez is staying. Don't know how much playing time he'll get though. Rodgers has asked him to apologise and he still hasn't done so.
He also still has that 10-game ban( 6 remaining).
