o) The Bears have had terrible luck against the Bengals over the past two times. They were trounced in 2005 24-7 by the Bengals and they were utterly trounced 45-10 by the Bengals in 2009. Both times Carson Palmer was the QB of the Bengals.

o) Overall the Bears are 3-6 against the Bengals dating back to 1972. Their wins came in 1986, 1989, and 2001.

I think we pull out a close one. Trestman is going to try extra hard to win his first game as HC, and we usually do well early in the season. 27-20 Bears

Sunday is the 8th.. Not the 9th.

I think this will be a good game to get the confidence up, and start the season off with a bang.

How I think this plays out...

Bears win 30 - 10

Jennings 1 pick...
Tillman holds Green to 4 catches...
Peppers Melton and Wooton all get sacks...

Alshon Jeffery 8 catches for 110 yards...
Marshall 8 catches for 125 yards... 1 TD
Martellus bennett 3 catches 34 yards...
Earl Bennett OUT...
Marques Wilson... 2 catches 46 yards...
Matt forte 7 catches 65 yards 21 rushes for 98 yards 1 TD...
Bush 10 carries 45 yards 1 TD
Gould 3 FGs
Cutler gets sacked 2x

Dolton gets picked 2x once by jennings... once by Conte...
Green gets held to 4 catches... for 65 yards
Mohammad Sanu has 5 catches for 75 yards
Gresham gets 6 catches for 60 yards...
BJGE has 12 carries for 36 yards...
Giovanni Bernard has 23 carries for 94 yards... 1 TD...

Our defense punishes there offense... Tillman shutting down green gives us the edge...
The Bengals defense looks shell shocked by Trestman and the Chicago Bears offense...

I thought it was on CBS because in AFC-NFC matches, if the NFC team in at home it's on CBS

This game has the feeling of the opener vs Atlanta a few years back where we won. I don't know what to expect going into a game against a AFC playoff team from last year. Hopefully we pull out the win.

I think it's gonna be a close one. If the line's as improved as it's seemed during Exhibition, the Beloved most likely pull this one out. Gotta neutralize Manaluga and Harrison, though; they're beasts.
