Bears vs Saints Notes
o) The Bears last met the Saints 2 years ago in New Orleans. The Saints man handled the Bears in a 30-13 victory. Cutler threw no interceptions but fumbled once and was sacked 6 times.

o) The Saints last visited Soldier Field in the 2008 season. The Bears won that game 27-24 in over time. The Bears had taken a 21-7 lead at half time, but the Saints came storming back in the 2nd half. They took a 24-21 lead late, but the Bears notched a field goal as regulation expired to send it to overtime. They won the toss, threw a couple of passes and kicked another field goal to win it.

o) The Bears have beaten the Saints the previous 3 times at Soldier Field. The Bears smacked them in the NFC Championship Game 39-14 in 2006, they beat them on the final game of the season 33-25 and then previous mentioned 2008 game.

This is going to be a brutally tough game for the Bears.

They need to play a clean game and they need a couple of players to give them big performances.

I am not worried a bit. Bears always do well in this type of games. We need the D show up and compete.

Saints OL is not that great this year. Their run game suffers as a result.

Idonije allegedly helped Detroit with calls ...maybe Bushrod helps the Bears same way. They'll need all the help they can get with the defense playing like shit.

If the Bears don't clean up defending the middle of the field, it could get real ugly on D.

The Bears all the way... I'm predicting Devin Hester taking two to the house this Sunday VS the Saints.
Bears 34
Saints 31

Originally I had the Saints game as our first loss and would be the wake up call the defense needed.

That loss came against the Lions so I see us pulling a win here we probably have no business getting.

34-27 Bears.

Honestly think the team that has the ball last wins, I'm having a tough time envisioning either defense stopping the O's. Probably the Saints in a close one.

Can Cutler and Co score 30+ with 1 or less turnovers? Because that is what we need.

If my life was on the line, I'd go with Saints 34-20
