Im just curious because it shocks me Bulls organization didn't tell him to work on his threes. As for Tyrus I could see him ignoring Paxson demands to get stronger and just work on his jumpshot

Tyrus went into the off season wanting to get a 3 point shot, and Thorpe convinced him to work more on finishing and the mid range shot.

Ya, but Paxson demanded he put on 15 more pounds or he would fine him. The same with Joakim

It seems kind of silly to focus on Tyrus developing a shot and Deng developing a post game. Why not have tyrus work near the basket and deng on the perimeter?

Tyrus has no strength to play by the basket and the Bulls probably thought Deng could be their inside presence
