I really wish we had Josh Freeman right about now.

I want sexy Rexy. He could unleash the dragon on Marshall/Jeffrey.

Actually I wouldn't mind Grossman. I bet he would probably do well with this system. Maybe he finally would get the mentoring he should have had almost 10 years ago.

Freeman just never impressed me all that much. From what I was hearing about him coming out of Tampa I am not sure I would want him. Then again, it could just be a case of him not getting along with management. An offensive minded guy like Trestman might be just what he needs to reach his full potential.

I wonder if Grossman would still get boo'd if he came back to play for the Bears.

I doubt it. I actually think he would do ok with this team, with this coach. It has been five years since he played here. That is a lot of water under the bridge.

Hindsight is always 20/20. Freeman was going to be picked up by someone to start...not as a backup. When he was available, he was not going to start in Chicago.

What a difference a week makes, but not like Emery has a magic crystal ball.

Okay, maybe 2. Rookie seasons aren't usually spectacular though. Looks pretty good until Cutler comes back.

So what you mean is he has only had 1 good season ... Teams rarely dump good players and the Offensive Coordinator for the Bucs was the QB coach for the Giants with 2 Superbowl rings...

Difference of opinion I suppose.
