I know the message board has reached DEFCON Delta with Cutler being injured, but some of you are completely unreasonable. Why the fuck do so many want to trade Cutler? With as many times as he has been hit, I am surprised his injuries haven't been more serious. He is the greatest QB Chicago has ever had. I know he has flaws, but shit. With Cutler in the game, the sky is the limit. I am seeing posts of drafting Tajh Boyd or Bridgewater. Both, in my opinion, will not be long term NFL quarterbacks. Yeah, the last three seasons he has been knocked out for periods of time because of injury, but two of the injuries were results of being sacked. It does not matter if you think that sack was soft, the fact is it is these hits obviously add up. Cutler is not only the gutsiest QB in the league, but he is one of toughest. Why do so many of you want to gamble on not having a QB for another three decades? I know Trestman is offensive-minded, but I do not know that is a risk worth taking. We finally have a legitimate offense, the offense was finally gelling. Cutler was on pace for the best season of his career. Cutler gives his ass for this team, when the team needs a spark Cutler gives it to them (i.e. Cutler shouldering Golden.) There is a reason before Cutler that both QBs and WRs came to Chicago to die, some fans don't deserve the potential of this offense. I know I sound like a fan boy, but I am so sick of people shitting on the guy. He goes out there busts ass and it still isn't good enough. Let me remind you of the QBs before Cutler and since McMahon. Oh yeah..Good ol' Chad Hutchinson and Johnathan Quinn. Chicago couldn't have enough of Kordell. Shane Matthews anyone?

1983 Jim McMahon (13) / Vince Evans (3) [30]
1982 Jim McMahon (7) / Bob Avellini (2)

The point is, Cutler is the best thing Chicago has had. I hope we resign him and I hope that we comes back from this injury he shuts all of the doubters up. Just because we have Emery and Trestman does not mean we are going to draft the next Manning. Cutler was playing like a top ten QB before yesterday and now everyone wants to jump ship and say screw him. The only thing that pissed me off more was Strahan's commentary during half time. Fuck you Strahan.

LOL, point is the Chiefs 7-0 record is b/c your shitty GM is no longer in KC.

Yet half this MB insists on sucking or not sucking Jay's cock...or any other promising QB for that matter(IE: Rex Grossman's past cock).

Try looking at the broader picture, dimwit.

I dont understand the logic of our previous GMs/coaches being unable to land a QB, meaning this current regime will also be unable to.

Why waste your time with all this bullshit and fail to mention the Bears never came close to providing as many weapons as they have now for any of these other QBs?

You don't think the mid 80's Bears were close?
