Bears vs Rams Notes
The Bears have not lost to the Rams since Mike Martz was the head coach in 2003. The Bears lost that matchup 23-21

The Bears beat the Rams 42-27 in which Devin Hester ran two kickoff returns for touchdowns. The Bears quietly ran the ball down the Rams throat in 2008 in a 27-3 win, Cutler played ultra conservatively in another quiet 17-9 win in 2009 and the defense mainly played well in a 23-6 win last season.

A very important game against a well rested team with extra time to prepare. I think Stacy has a huge day against the Bears defense, but it's still a winnable game.

Rams D-Line is very strong and if they get a lot of pressure up the middle, we could be in trouble. They are however, weak against the run, so hopefully Forte has a huge day. I'm going to say Rams by 3 (home field), but it could go either way, a couple Defensive scores might be what we need to pull this one out.

We may need the old Hester to show up in this one (not as a cornerback). That or turnovers. This will definitely be a test for Josh, Trest, and this O line.

Had a dream we played the Seahawks and the game cut out and the final score was like 80-51 Seahawks :nervous: good thing we are playing the Rams.

Well last Saturday went to the local 'CHARITY" casino bought in the hold em with 100 walked out with 475 after two half hours bears beat ravens... so I figured try it again just got back 525$ richer which means bears win 31-21!

Charity casinos are great cause u aren't allowed to tip the dealer, so I can be cheap and not be a dick

Once again we have a very crucial game. We have no room for error in our tight division race. Rams run the ball down our throat until we throw-up, but Kellen Clemens is unsuccessful at the QB position and will not do enough damage to beat us.

Bears 20-17

And even though earler in the week it said we'd get the Bears game here, NOW it says Vikings Packers. They gave up a game with playoff implications for the "who gives a shit" Bowl.

Bears predictions and callilng for Lions to lose again

Bears should win against a team that will give them a good fight. However the big news from my standpoint is I believe the implodable Lions will lose. We all know the Lions pass offense is extremely reliant on Megatron with Burleson out. Bush is the other big weapon for them. However the Bucs have Revis Island covering CJ and CJ has had his share of poor games against physcial corners who can keep up with his speed. The Bucs are also ranked 9th in run defense so there is a good chance they can keep Reggie from making big plays. All this plus the Bucs offense is starting to click and the kicker is the Lions always try to give the game away by doing something stupid. Bear fans should be excited about this matchup. The real negative for Bear fans is this game is played in Detroit and that could be the deciding factor especially given that the refs have been very kind to Detroit this season.

The big X factor in the Bears Rams game is obviously Tavon Austin. I wonder if the Bears try to use Hester in coverage that might be fun to watch and maybe encourage them to use Hester on occasion as a corner. However look for Jennings to single cover him a lot and do an overall good job.

All year the Bears run game has been spotty at best so now is the time for the oline to show it can be more consistent in run blocking. Typically attacking quality pass rushers with running plays is a good way to wear them down and maybe take away some of their effectiveness as pass rushers. So I expect a lot of runs off the edges. I just hope Trestman keeps the runs up the gut plays to a minimum as I just dont trust Garza to get enough push to make these plays work. We could see a lot of run plays with the two Long boys in the mix. I personally have been waiting all season to see what Mills and Kyle can do when Trestman puts the run game primarily on their backs. It would be ironic if the game Kyle lines up on the other side of his brother is the game he tries this.

I am looking for our wideouts to have big games. Marshall is due after an off game last week. The oline has been good at pass blocking even against good dlines like the Ravens. An early heavy does of the Bears short to intermediate pass game should be used to set up the run game. This should lead to getting the most out of Forte. Bennet the Black Unicorn also could have a really good day against their safties. The Rams secondary is the weakest of their units so if Josh has enough time the pass game might actually explode.

Shea is going to show a lot of fire after having to sit for two weeks and have another quality game on top of his performance in Green Bay.

Conte could end up being the difference in this game. One of the safties has to keep Zac Stacy from controlling the game and Major Wright is just so wrong for this job.
