We need to sweep the Pirates. They are an awful team and we need to close the gap between us and St. Louis. I know it's early but we need to slaughter bad teams and can't afford to lose to them.

Worst ERA and AVG in NL, and the Cubs have a slightly better fielding percentage.

Well if the bats stay as hot as they have been it shouldn't be a problem to sweep the Pirates. We know the starting pitching is there and the bullpen is coming around. The bats staying hot is the key.

A series win is a must here. Coming off a big series win against Arizona, it's very key to take 2/3 or sweep the Pirates.

Losing to the Mets, Astros, Nationals was enough for us. You have to win the games your supposed to win.

Maybe you should've phrased it better, like "Need to Sweep Pittsburgh in Steal Town", because maybe God interpreted it the wrong way, because this is the exact opposite.

Well we got the sweep didn't we. Just wasn't the one we wanted. This team is a disaster. Thank God we have 3rd highest payroll. Money well spent!
