Bears vs Browns Notes
The Bears and Browns have played each other a total of 14 times in team history. The Bears are 5-9 against them. The Bears last played the Browns in 2009 in a 30-6 win. Matt Forte rushed for 2 touchdowns, Tillman scored on an interception and Hester nearly ran one back. The Offense otherwise looked rather pathetic for scoring 23 points. Cutler was 17/30 225 yards 0 TDs 1 INT.

In 2005, the Browns beat the Bears in Cleveland 20-10 in a game that became famous because after the game safety Mike Brown stated "we suck" which seemed to light a fire under the teams ass and they ripped a 8 game winning streak.

In 2001, the famous Mike Brown miracle #2 game happened in which the Bears were down 21-7 late. Scored a late TD, recovered the onside kick then scored a TD on a hail mary to send it into OT. Brown intercepted a deflected Tim Couch pass and ran it in for a touchdown just as he had down in overtime the previous week against the 49ers.

Peppers had success avoiding Kalil in the Vikings game with stunts. I'd imagine the same this week. The pass rush is a lot better when Peppers is a factor. He would not be against Joe Thomas all day.

Also this may be the worst 2 LB groups in the NFL right now.

I just really, really want this win! I have been shouting that the sky is falling and that every week was the game to decide if we make it to the playoffs or not, but this one is it! I will be screaming my head off all game long! I know we can pull this one out!!!

This could be the last meaningful game Jay Cutler plays as a Bear, I doubt it will be, but hey, could be. It's funny to think about how this would all come to a breaking point back when we traded for Cutler, that Josh McCown would upstage him and possibly be the result of his exit. Hate to be a reminiscing pansy but oh well, I think the majority of us know where we were when we heard the news about signing Jay.

Not sure where I was, but remember running to the toilet right after.

I'd feel a lot more confident if McCown was playing.

Jay Cutler throws an interception on the Bears first offensive drive of the game as the Jay Cutler "haters" laugh with joy as they think they have received an early Christmas present.

Cutler then throws three touchdown passes and finishes the game with three touchdowns and one interception.

Bears win 27-14

So basically McCown plus a turnover.

These FOX heads are morons.
You have to practice your starting QB. You can't go in with the idea that you'll simply pull one and start the other, especially with Cutler not having practiced for so long and that being the guy you plan on sticking in.
I wish it was possible to swap QBs like pitchers but it's not.

Why, because he did such a great job of beating Minn and St Louis??? His yardage totals would be quite impressive if they actually led to wins lol. Bottom line, those 2 losses killed the Bears and yes, it was the Offense at fault! The 20 points the Bears put up against Minn is the fewest any team has scored against them this season! Josh is 1-2 in the last 3 against 3 bad football teams and for some reason people thinks he gives us the best chance to win???

Now all of the sudden everyone in the Bears organization that Jay Glazer has talked to is against this move?
