I'll take the better player, prospect or not.. At this point, is Morin really a prospect? I think it's pretty clear he can play a regular shift in the NHL, and would be a regular third liner on a LOT of teams.

Sure it was. Morin's success can only help the Blackhawks.

I'll still take a proven NHL player over a prospect all day long.

How are the prospects supposed to prove themselves without getting playing time at the NHL level?

I guess that depends on your definition. Morin will be back in Rockford when Bickell comes back, though.

3rd liner on a lot of teams? Based on what?

So all prospects should stay in the AHL?

So every 7-8 games when Morin gets an assist, that's going to prove your point?

I love IHN-logic!

Pretty much because that's about how often Q has played Morin. Every 7 or 8 games. When he does play, he looks good. Just like tonight. Again, he's in a tough position because of the Versteeg trade, it pretty much solidified the top 9 for a couple years. As much as I'd like to see him get his chance, if Q was going to continually scratch him in favor of Brookbank, then I'm glad Bowman got Versteeg. Because that's flat out ridiculous, I don't care how many wins or Cups a coach has.

Agree with all of this. I just don't see where Morin is going to fit.

Morin might be better than Versteeg, or Bickell, or Shaw, or any of them.

But he isn't right now and the Blackhawks have Stanley Cups to win.

Honestly, I'd rather see him on the fourth line than Bollig. I just don't see what Bollig brings to the table that Morin isn't better at, at this point. I will give Bollig credit, he has improved leaps and bounds this year, but I'd still take a Morin-Kruger-Smith line over Bollig-Kruger-Smith.

Like I've said if these are the biggest concerns this team has, start the parade planning now.

Will be nice to see Raanta get a full game here tomorrow night. THIS is the biggest concern of this team, as to allow CC to get a few games off here and there.

I can see them trading for a back up goalie at some point if Raanta isn't up to the task. I have no clue who would even be available or unsigned. Khabby seems done at this point.

Raanta will be so good when he gets his backup chances there will be a goalie controversy.

Nothing bad to say about this one at all. Awesome effort by everyone. Shut down a decent O and Lt the other team up.

Good effort all around; onto Cal-Gary.
