Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers Recent History
2013: The Bears beat the Packers earlier this year after Shea McClellin knocked Aaron Rodgers out of the game after the first series. Josh McCown filled in for Jay Cutler and played mistake free football. The Bears would take the game 27-20 after having a long drive to put the game away in the 4th quarter.

2012: The Bears lost both matchups to the Packers as Cutler played god awful in the first meeting and marginal in the second meeting. He threw 5 boneheaded interceptions in 2 games against the Packers.

2011: The Bears got blown away in the Christmas Game in 2011 as the Bears backup QB Josh McCown had his first start. He played marginal but GB's offense decimated the Bears defense for 35 points. The earlier game featured Cutler throwing more boneheaded interceptions

2010 NFCGC: The Matchup of the last 70 years for Bear fans as the Packers and Bears played to go to the Super Bowl. The Packers jumped out to quick start and Cutler spent most of his day on the ground before being removed from the game early in the 3rd Quarter. After getting tired of watching Todd Collins not able to throw a football, Lovie Smith put in Caleb Hanie who immediately sparked the offense and led a drive to cut the lead to 14-7 early in the 4th. The defense played lights out and stopped Aaron Rodgers at every turn. However, Hanie could not get a drive going and ended up throwing a pick 6 to essentially seal the game. The Bears would make it interesting with a quick touchdown and then a defensive stop, but Hanie would send the Packers to the Super Bowl with a pick late in the game.

Jay Cutler Notes
Jay Cutler is historically awful against the Packers

So if that happened, and we drafted an amazing QB say in the 3rd round, we shored up the D and were above average next year, got deep in the playoffs, maybe even the SB, what in the heck would we do on this board? There'd be like 2 new topics after games, and they'd both be friendly! How boring...I say sign Jay to a $300mil 10 year contract. This board depends in it!

I'll be honest...I don't want Jay resigned and I think he will choke with 3 interceptions not being totally unexpected...deep downfield double coverage Marshall....picked off!!

But I love the Bears so I hope he plays well, but I doubt it. Either way, the board will go crrraaaaazzzzzzyyy with a win or lose.

Amazing how coincidentally the Cowboys and Eagles play for their division Champs, and The Bears and Packers play for the NFCN,all on week 17..I wonder what the odds of that happening are?

Bears win as the defense sports oversized pads and facemask and the Packers stumble over our pancaked posse. 74-0.

As much as I don't want to believe that's what the broadcasters will be saying Sunday, I have a feeling that that is what they're going to be saying. Cutler has just been that way with Green Bay. Let's hope not though.

As much as the packers and their fans blow a large cheesey one what is the deepest a team has gone into the playoffs dead last against the run? Mcnown seems to look at all his options better and to keep himself and the team calm. Cutler lacks the intangibles that come with being a leader and can't hold himself or the team together when challenged. He looked like a D2 freshman last week going on the road against the SEC for the first time. The NFC is mediocre this year so anyone who gets in can have a run ( even if they can't stop it) so lets slop one out with the understudy.

Colts won the super bowl with the worst Run D that regular season.

Yeah but they got Bob Sanders back either at the end of the season, or for the playoffs. That made a HUGE difference in their run D.
