I ended up having my mock go this way, it just sort of fell out this way.
1- CJ Mosley, ILB, Bama
2-LaMarcus Joyner, S, florida state
3-Jackson Jeffcoat, DE, texas
4- Anthony Johnson, DT, LSU
5- DeAnthony Thomas, RB, oregon
6- James Gayle, DE, VaTech
6- Victor Hampton, CB, south carolina
I feel like getting Mosley would be huge, and allow us to slide Bostic to WLB where hes a much better fit. It would give us a good, very talented tandem at LB going forward. Afterward I thought Joyner would have been another good pick, very talented, and very versatile from what Ive seen and read on him. After those 2 I just grabbed the best available at each pick. I was intrigued by DeAnthony Thomas though, especially considering we are likely to cut Bush, and Forte has had injury issues in the past. I wouldve liked to have been able to grab a CB ib the 3rd, but the was ranked far below Jeffcoat on the rankings and I went for the best available after the 2nd. I dont know much about the picks from the third round on except the RB I know has some explosive big play ability.
So I ran a second one to see how it came out, and it was completely different this time around, and I think maybe I like this one better...
1- Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB oregon
2- Christian Jones, ILB, florida state
3- Tajh Boyd, QB, clemson
4- Dominique Easley, DT, florida
5- Hakeem Smith, S, louisville
6- Chris davis, CB, auburn
7- Kareem Martin, DE, UNC
In this mock, I was able to get more secondary help, and still grab an impact LB to team with Bostic. Plus I was ableto get a good young QB for Trestman to develop behind Jay. Some dline help as well.
