Our C team looked pretty good.

It was pretty funny seeing Mexican fans come up with excuses after the game saying that it was their C/D team when the U.S. also didn't have their best team (No Altidore, Dempsey & Jones).

Like Alexi kept saying, Mexico gave up a goal to a college player. That is very, very bad! lol

The U.S. beat the Netherlands 4-3 in Amsterdam. :beerbang:

Great result considering its our first ever win against the Dutch.

Another landmark win for the U.S. beating the defending world champions IN Germany.

It's been a great week for U.S. soccer (MNT, U-23 team, U-20 team and the WNT). Also can't forget about exposing corrupt FIFA.

USA! USA! USA!!!

Fucking frustrating game, that one.

Think Wambach's header would've ended up in the goal on grass. But it took a wicked hop off of the turf and sailed over the crossbar instead.

Speaking of near goals... that was a helluva save by the defender with the header

USMNT Win Gold Cup Opener!

2-1 continuing a good tourney stretch after the women won it all in the WWC!

Indeed, both the mens and the womens raking up wins recently. Good sign. Let's see if we can win the Gold Cup again. Looking forward to facing Mexico/ Costa Rica.

why do they still keep calling Altidore? there's gotta be better strikers. Too many MLS players for my liking, but whatever.....half the squads in the Gold Cup don't even have MLS level players.
