I was having this text message conversation with a couple buddies today. Who do you feel is the best coach right now in all of professional sports? My buddies, who are HUGE Hawks fans all told me that Thibs was the best current coach in all of sports. I don't disagree with them. That he has this Bulls team in third place, in an admitted weak Eastern Conference, is remarkable. I could also argue that Q is one of the better in all of sports because I think having that talented of a roster and being able to get them to buy into a philosophy is the mark of a great coach. Obviously, a football coach means more - maybe - to a franchise, but my vote is with Thibs. Who do you got?

Vicente del Bosque - Coach of Spanish National Soccer Team

2008 Euro Cup Champions
2010 World Cup Champions
2012 Euro Cup Champions

First time in history that a team has ever done that.

Solid showing in 14...and he wasn't the manager for the 08 Euro Cup. The answer is Pop.

Team got old, happens in soccer, much quicker than in any other sport.

Pop is a solid choice. He could be less of a dick in interviews though.
