Earl did some good things for us but $2.45 million is a lot and i'm rooting for M.Wilson to step it up next year and take that #3 WR spot.

I've said since his first year that a team like the Pats would love to have him as a #3 WR...can run the slot, dependable w/ hands, won't be asked to make miraculous catches...Won't be surprised a bit to see them go after him.

Earl had a good stint in Chicago considering he was a 3rd Round pick and spent the majority of it under different OCs almost every year.

However, we've talked about that $2.45 Milion cap hit all off-season...thats a decent sized cap number that could go towards someone on defense and it clearly has.

The biggest news Bennett made last year was getting fined for wearing funny colored shoes. He was so far behind the 2 starters what was the point of having his contract taking up space if he couldn't play when some young low priced guy who can play on special teams can do more than he did.

So how long before the Bucs scoop him up to back up Williams and Jackson?

Yeah, like the Bucs signing every other Bears FA. I'll be glad when FA is over so I can stop listening to this BS.

The only thing soft about Hunter was the gray matter in his brain.

Oh I forgot about HH. An exception, perhaps.

Earl was a man amongst boys and if it wasnt for Cutler he would still be with us

Pretty sure it's sarcasm going towards all the Cutler haters.

Yeah, you're probably right. I know PIB really liked Bennett, he once said that he is the best "catcher" in football, I think that was it anyway, so I thought for a second that he maybe meant it.

I've always liked Earl but if this money goes towards re-signing Tillman I'm all for it. I'd be ok with the money going toward re-signing Melton too but I especially hope that Peanut is back.
