but Melo to the Bulls has some traction

Woj/SAS both say Chicago is a legit option Melo is considering

now im not saying its gonna happen im actually still doubtful but i think its worthy of discussion

It's just a question. Who will the next Melo be? Just like it was Dwight, Wade, LeBron, Kobe..... who is the next person? This isn't a thread about how possible Melo being a Bull can be, but who is that next player?


I'm just researching for ideas, seeing how writers with "sources" prey on the obsessive personality types, and they seem to make good bank doing it over and over again.

I think looking for the next player to add to the team shows (from some fans) that they KNOW that this team isn't good enough. I see nothing wrong with discussing Melo and others.

I believe the Bulls go another route...taking a 2nd tier FA (Gay, Stephenson) and bringing in Mirotic. So I don't expect there to actually be someone on that level that actually shows up.

Kevin Love will be the topic of speculation though.

That point still stands. Not to mention he's on a small rookie contract for the next 4 years. If he's truly good, he's untradeable at that point.

Carmelo isnt leaving New York. Phil Jackson has controlled some strong ass personalities. Carmelo should be a breeze. I also still dont see D Rose and Carmelo playing well together. I know yall say they can, but I just dont see it. Its one thing to sacrifice for the better of the team, but you are basically telling one of them to change their style of play. That never goes well.

Which is what Phil already said about Melo. He has to change his style, no more iso for Melo.
