So does Bradley, Defoe, Henry, Keane and Donovan. It would be nice if we had a player like them......

Instead our highest paid player is the third lowest team-leader in the league, a damn good one at that, but still.

I'd like the Fire to have a "face" of the franchise...not just one that represents the team well, but one that the league looks to for promotions/development. I want the MLS version of Johnathan Toews.

Sad part is the two teams directly behind us have NFL owners too, ones who should have pretty deep pockets. Of course, Colorado ownership is committed to soccer, but the extent of that may be limited. In addition to the Rapids, Avalanche, Nuggets, Mammoth and St. Louis Rams, Kroenke also owns Arsenal.

That said, we were higher on last year's rankings... top half anyway, maybe top quarter.
