Canadiens are playing A+ hockey right now. Given their finals history, they would be a formidable opponent for Lord Stanleys Cup.

Yeah, I don't know where that came from but Montreal was incredible against Tampa. Lightning had no chance.

Should the Hawks win this series, does anyone know which other W.C. series would provide their next opponent?.

TY in advance, am guessing it's another backwards NHL seeding formula.

I think it'd be Colorado or Minnesota.

Minnesota is really playing well but you gotta think they'd be the best matchup for the Hawks right now. Colorado and the goalie that stops everything has given them fits. Varlamov has been freaking unconscious all year....I keep waiting for him to come back to earth but it doesn't look like it's gonna happen.

Kings go from a stingy defense to the Sharks scoring goals at will.

If you ask several Penguins defenders the past 2 seasons they would say it's all about the loss of Scuderi.

Worst call of the playoffs. Minn vs AVs

Under 5 minutes left in 3rd, one goal game.....he gives out a 2 min minor for giving the goalie a snow shower.

BRUTALLY STUPID CALL

The worst was yet to come. Blatant holding and then obviously offsides in the same sequence leads to the game tying goal. Colorado is getting by on smoke and mirrors.

No but a few minutes later Colorado got the game-tying goal on a rush that was offsides.

Not a good finish by the refs. You can dislike that call by the refs, sure, but it's also pretty stupid for Landeskog to do that in that situation. He could've sprayed ice in a direction other than the goalie.

Amazingly bad officiating given the situation, but not exactly surprising. I brought up the ice shower only because they let everything go in the 3rd until that point....then continued to let everything go after that which REALLY made it stand out. The blown offsides was probably the most damning as it led directly to the game tying goal.

Pretty brutal stuff......NHL or NBA officials....flip a coin, they're both horrid.

I agree whole-heartedly.

On one end you have Nathan MacKinnon, Calder Trophy winner and the early stud of the playoffs. He's earning his due, and at 18 years old, making his mark with stand-out tough play. Go ahead and give the goalie a snow shower. Hockey's always been a tough game.

On the other end you have the Wild to retaliate. It should be a no-call, and it should be left to the Wild to get in his face and bring the force to him.

Either way the Avs-Wild series has been great and I look forward to seeing the Hawks play the Avs.
