we had some mo after the kane goal but took the foot off the gas afterwards. cant sit back vs a good team like the blues. Crawford played great I thought. powerplay was awfull after the oduya goal though. game two is gonna be huge after dropping a heartbreaker in triple ot.

Sharp had a couple point blank chances that just didn't go, would have given us that 2 goal cushion. Miller made some great stops, and then I thought we got pretty stagnant throughout most of the OT's in terms of the type of offense we were running, just trying to push the puck to net and the Blues were cleaning up and tight in the middle. Both teams know each other well, we need to play a little smarter maybe?

Lets not forget they robbed us of a 5v3.....although part of me was relieved because it felt like we couldn't score 5v3 and then it would just be all the more momentum against us. tough game, I didn't sleep after.

That stadium looks amazingly small for a premiere (I guess) professional sports franchise.

Looks slightly bigger than the All-State.

pp has to be simple. point shots, bodys in front pay a price. playoff hockey is hard but simple. tough loss but saturday is another story

In fairness, they did hit the post at least twice and maybe 3 times.

The thing that gets me is that the Blues players all get down and block shots, a lot of them. You'd think that a few would redirect to the net but I'm not sure I saw any that did in Game 1. Maybe that'll turn around today and a couple will deflect in, instead of straight back.
