Pryor...I'd rather get a DT in the second.

This is who I think Emery will be choosing from:

Aaron Donald
Kyle Fuller
Calvin Pryor
Louis Nix III

Not sure if HCD will be available or not. If HCD is available I think he will be #1 for the Bears.

HHCD and Gilbert will be gone. Most likely Donald will be gone. At that point I take Pryor and leave happy. If Donald is there YOU TAKE HIM.

i have to admit i'm coming around on hageman. liked him at the combine. besides Donald he's about the only DT i'd take at #14 and be okay.

Emery selecting a player at 14 instead of doing a trade-down...

1. Donald
2. Haha Clinton-Dix
3. Pryor

Otherwise trade down. Emery would surely consider NT Nix, Gilbert and Dennard, but I think Emery has the luxury of selecting a CB next year, and collecting decent NT/DT, Safeties and prospect CB with a trade-down.

Calvin Pryor
Kyle Fuller
Ra'Shede Hageman
And I think Deone Bucannan could be a Kyle Long-esque surprise pick

The Bears need to draft players that will either get good playing time/start (defensive tackle, safety), decent/good playing time (backup running back, backup tight end), and a backup quarterback.

Sick of the Buchanon hype...Not good in coverage and is a one dimensional, hard hitting safety. At least Pryor has some range.

Donald or HCD, hell I'd even rather see Emery trade up for either one, or even take whatever player with a top 10 grade that falls, rather than take any of Pryor, Hageman or Nix. I just don't see what it is that says any of those three are worth the 14th pick besides need.

I'd even be happy with Kony Ealy at #14 if HCD & Donald are gone. I think Ealy is going to be very good defensive end. Ealy really wouldn't bother me in almost any scenario, especially if it meant moving Houston inside who I think would be fine as a 3-Tech. Ealy is another pass rusher that produced through chips & doubles & Micheal Sam should thank Ealy the most for his DPOY award, with how Ealy drew those chips & double to his own attention all season, while still grinding out 9 sacks 14 TFLs of his own.

I think he's better in coverage than he gets credit for, he's not great but he had more career picks than HHCD and Pryor combined, so that at least says something. But I'm not sating at all that he should be drafted in the first round, I'm just saying that it wouldn't surprise me if Emery really likes him, as it appears he does after two meetings with him, that he pulls the trigger on him in the first round, like he did with Long
