Add Ryan Groy from Wisconsin to that list. He's a guard.
He had a solid career in college.

Christian Jones and DeDe Lattimore are both interesting LB prospects. I saw Lattimore this year against UCF and he was making a ton of plays. I think everyone has seen a fair amount of Jones.

One of these guys might stick as the backup Mike.

Jones and Lynch are probably the only ones who stick. Trestman has demonstrated tremendous interest in creatively using Lynch as an offensive weapon, and Jones just has too good a combination of size, speed, and athleticism to let walk. I'd bet he supplants Jordan Senn at the last LB spot if the Bears carry six.

Love the Christian Jones signing. I know this isn't a good comparison but what if he was this years Vontaze Burfict. that would be pretty cool.

I thought he was going to get flat out drafted. Glad the Bears picked him up.

I thought Jones went to Jacksonville. Well, I'm happy. I started bitching about passing on Jones in the fifth, so getting him as an UDFA is great.

I can't believe Purifoy is still a FA. I remember when we was slotted in many mock drafts on the second and third round for us to draft.

Walterfootball.com shows that the Rams have only signed 4 UDFA's which seems kinda odd this far into the free agency period.

It's up to Jones to lose a LB spot on the final roster. The LBs that will have a guaranteed spot are:
1. Briggs, WLB
2. Bostic, SLB
3. McClellin, SLB
4. DJ Williams, MLB
5. Greene, WLB
6. Senn, (Strictly Special teams)

That leaves an open MLB spot for Jones. He could legit be this year's Burfict.

Do we normally carry more than six LBs? I didn't think so. I'd rather carry more DL.
