Kings, the Ducks have more depth, speed, and their goalie is a grown man in net.

Crawford this postseason: 12 GP, .931 SA%, 1.97 GAA

Quick this postseason: 13 GP, .914 SA%, 2.78 GAA

Yeah, not worried about the Kings at all. And the Ducks with a rookie goalie?

:andruw:

Excuse me while I clear my calendar for the first two weeks of June.

Revisionist history attempts are pointless.

Who's to say Gibson wouldn't have stonewalled the Hawks this series?

Based on the Hawks dominance of the Kings up until this series, I would've preferred the Kings top the Ducks in that series every single time.

I also wanted the Kings but for different reasons. The Hawks for the first time in a long time had a losing road record. Wait, before you get your panties in a bunch and say...No they didn't!!! The only reason it looks that way was because of OTL's. They did get themselves a point in those games but invariably ending up losing most of them in OT or Shoot-out. I wanted home ice, I felt it was important this year and I also felt that Quick is a bit over rated as a goalie.
