OK, probably a lot of :rage: now, but damn.

The PP is absolutely awful at this point in the year. Time for Q and his buddy Kompon the Tampon to go home.

Oh, right. Fisch and Dews, you're both morons.

I still can't tell if some of the people in this thread are being serious or not and now I'm just confused.

Fisch legit wanted him fired last year, and he was more than happy to eat shit when he was wrong.

Dewey just hates Bowman because of 2011 or 2012, not sure what more he could have done then though. He's just naturally negative. This season has been a huge success, the fourth in six years in fact. We have not had one season that I would deem a failure (a failure to reach the ultimate goal, sure, but it isn't going to happen every year and we continue to position ourselves well) in that time-span except for maybe 2011.

Fact: The Blackhawks won Stanley Cups in 2010 and 2013 after having gone 49 years without one (thanks in large part to Bowman and Q, though I know nobody here will give Bowman any credit for 2010, but 2013 was on him). This is the best stretch we've ever had (not counting the late 60's/early 70's that did not result in a Cup but we made appearances after dominating the expansion division) and have already made it further than 26 teams this year.

Nobody deserves to get fired.

Honestly after the cap purge in 2013, this team is in a lot better shape than the one in 2011.

Kompon can go though, don't care.

You know, I also blamed a lot of the PP problems on Kompon but the reality of it is that he was dealt a bit of a bad hand by Bowman. You look at all the teams that really do well on the PP and they all have guys with big shots at the point. There is a reason that the Hawks point shots rarely get through to the net and I believe that to be the major culprit.

The PK? In my mind, that's all coaching philosophy and that's on Q. If you constantly back in and don't challenge the point men you've got yourself a recipe for disaster. The Kings are regularly getting point shots off cleanly from 15-20 feet inside the blueline and a lot of those times they are right between the circles.
