I downloaded FF8 on PS3 because that was another game I didn't finish due to upgraded system. I still haven't finished it. We only have one TV in the house so if I want to play anything I have two women looking at me like "don't you need to be building a tree house or something"

Link... problem solved, get it done Monk

5. Goldeneye 64
4. Elder Scrolls: Oblivion
3. Halo 2
2. Metal Gear Solid
1. COD Modern Warfare- Hardcore Search & Destroy was the best time ive had playing any game type on any game ever.

Tons of honorable mentions, many in which are the same games just different years. I know i really enjoyed games on N64, Super NES, Nintendo and Genesis but that was so long ago. I truly my older gamer judgement. Btw kudos to the guy who mentioned Sub-Zero Mythologies. Loved that game. Too bad my PS took a shit on me before i could finish it.

Just 5... hmmmm. Replay value makes for a favorite game of mine.

#1. GTA Vice City
#2 Diablo II
#3 Age of Empires III
#4 Super Mario 3
#5 GTA V Or San Andreas. This is a tough one. I think V is slightly better in every way. It's weird having two games from the same franchise, but I love me some GTA. Otherwise I would put Megaman 2.

I can't do it in just 5:

Star Wars: Tie Fighter

Castle Wolfenstein (THE first, the one before ID Software's FPS)

F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon)

Metroid Prime

Alien Vs. Predator - Gold Edition

Mechwarrior: Mercenaries

Castlevania I - IV + Symphony of the Night

Knights of the Old Republic

Eye of the Beholder

Doom III

SSX for PS2

I have countless others I really loved, but these were the ones I came back to and never grew weary of.

Dead Space has been awesome. I was worried it wouldn't hold up, but its fine. Graphics are passable enough that they don't hurt immersion and the game is all atmosphere, which doesn't age, as long as you are immersed. I can only play an our or so at a time cause I can't take much more adrenaline than that in one sitting. Reminds me a lot of resident evil 2 back when that first came out.

Liked it too. Took me a bit to orientate to the over-the-shoulder 3rd person camera, but was all good after. Reminded me of a combination of The Thing, Aliens, and Event Horizon.

Maybe we'll get lucky and the rumors about John Carpenter directer a Dead Space movie are true...

Mike Tyson's Punch Out. Yeah, I went there.

Fun Trivia. A Link to the Past is a separate timeline created when Link was defeated by Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time.

BTW, I am dying to play uncharted. I havent played any of them cause I've only had a PC for many years. And now, the new consoles aren't backwards compatible so looks like I will forever miss out.

I have all 3 but have yet to play them. I have a ton of games that I still haven't popped into my PS3. Just don't get the urge to play like I used to, except when certain games come out. Any God of War or Batman: Arkham game gets my game motor revving.

Resident evil 1
The mortal kombat series
Any of the batman arkham games

Completely forget about Resident Evil. I played part 2 to death. Forgot about GTA as well. I beat GTA 3 a million times. I love games that have a solid story and plenty of re-playability. Other honorable mentions are the Madden games, where I used to dominate. MVP Baseball. Battletoads, Contra, Tecmo Super Bowl. Another game I dominated. I could go the whole season and not throw 10 incompletions with Harbaugh. My friend tried to play me once and I dominated him with The Fridge and Neal Anderson. This was probably a decade since I had last played LOL.

BTW bot, I'm sure they'll have a PS3 emulator out soon, if they don't already, once the PS4 gains enough popularity. You'll be able to play Uncharted then. I got emulators for my old systems that I gave away/sold and only downloaded the games I really missed. I found coolroms.com a few months ago because I was dying to play Link to the Past. I seriously defeated the game in one sitting.
