I don't think I'm viewing this through the Hawks-colored glasses when I say that Shaw was not really this crazy while he was on the Hawks. Am I wrong?

Not at all. I guess Q kept him in check.

I did forget that one.... I am betting Shaw was better controlled on the Hawks because we were a winning team.... we are all in much better control of ourselves when we are winning.

Montreal is first in the East, so I don't think that is the issue.

Shaw is in a new environment. He is a scrappy player that is trying to prove himself and his contract to his new team/fanbase. Definitely has gone overboard at times this season but he always toed that line.

Tarasenko is on fire with 18 points (9G, 9A) in his last 13 games.

With his hat trick and 4-point game last night, Tarasenko now has 18 points (9G, 9A) in his last 13 games and at least one point in 11 of 13. Blues have won 7 of 8.

Flyers vs Stars is on CSN right now for anyone in the Chicagoland area that wants to watch some afternoon hockey. Dallas still has plenty of injuries but have looked better as of late. Philadelphia is finally getting some solid goaltending from Mason and continuing to score at a high clip. Blackhawks play the Stars tomorrow - Lehtonen is in net today for Dallas.

Reminds me of Seabrook in the Soldier Field Stadium series.

Except I think Seabs figured it out a little faster.

Dale Tallon has been put back in charge of hockey operations in Florida... so what left of his beloved trash can Stanbo trade him?

Well there's our taker for Seabs. I know he will probably be gone (Darling too), but I'd hate to see the only Dman with any size, gone.
