Least he went 6 innings. Bullpen really needs a break. This feels like another game that's been too typical this season. Cubs not scoring much.

Pirates win 6-2! Castro was basically the whole offense 3 for 4 with a single, double, and a homer. 2 RBIs. Really boring game and Jackson just makes mental mistake on the mound. 2 outs and walks the 2 hitter to bring up McCutchen is going to get you hurt.

Honestly what makes you think the team cares about winning now? I mean they aren't even moving guys that clearly have outclassed their current level (See Bryant)

I would venture to guess Bryant is going to skip AAA. Its June 10th. Even if they brought up Baez, Bryant, and Alcantara I highly doubt it would make a difference for this season. If this was August, I would agree but right now let them take their lumps in the minors.

Having a longer-term picture in terms of clocks and salaries and what not in a losing season is one thing. Saying the front office is glad they are losing is completely different. Asinine, even.
