Sorry, I have to ask the grand master, Drew Doughty for an opinion first.

The original trade rumors came from a media outlet in Canada. All of the other stuff came out later as suggested justification of said trade rumors.

An organization that got Susannah Collins fired because she accidentally said the word "sex" during a TV broadcast seems, to me, like they'd have a problem with a guy sleeping his way around town. Combining that with the alleged incident involving a teammate (who everyone seems to think is Patrick Kane) and I think they'd have enough reason to entertain the idea of moving him around town.

Basically, I think McD and company are too damn uptight and any potential bad press is something they're going to act quickly to squash.

But apparently it was OK for Kane to punch a cabbie and get drunk after losing to the Coyotes in the playoffs?

It's an odd double standard for the organization to have, Susannah Collins got fired, yet they had no problem promoting Sharp as Chicago's sexiest athlete, along with having a sexy lady shoot the puck at every home game.

I really don't care, and frankly I'm just annoyed of all this off-ice bullshit seemed to generate clicks and attention.

Congratulations on arriving at the double standard within the Blackhawks organization. Fun, isn't it?

I thought Collins was fired for being passed around the Hawks locker room?

Nope. She was trying to say "having lots of success" and instead said "having lots of sex" and that led to her dismissal.

The interesting part about this, is that Sharp and his agent would have to supply the Blackhawks with a list of teams he would/wouldn't accept a trade to based on his modified NTC. Based on the agent denying the rumors in a fashion such as this, maybe the Blackhawks are not shopping him.

Perhaps the Blackhawks went shopping with Sharp.... like for clothes.... books.... etc... and someone took the opportunity to say he was being shopped.... seems legit

Blackhawks were probably just looking to see what his value on the market was

Obviously they do not.

However, I would be surprised if an agent came out and blasted these rumors in the fashion he did if he were asked by the Blackhawks to supply a trade list. That is the point that most will take from my post.

Chicago Tribune's Chris Kuc just tweeted this:

Source says #Blackhawks are listening to offers for winger Patrick Sharp.

So they are going to try to line up a buyer, before they know if they can sell the product..... have they not seen how this turns out with drug deals?
