I'll be surprised if the Hawks sign more than 2 players. A goalie and a depth forward. That's it.

so we are under the assumption that raanta will get reps in the AHL? just curious.

Yep. And more than he would in Chicago. Took a bit of a step back in the 2nd half of the last season so I'd like to see him get some more AHL time.

I don't see it. I think they're set with the cap too tight to add another. Rantaa probably stays in the NHL and I think they want Simpson or Carruth to maintain Rockford now.

Well Regin is one other vet kept but not sure what else could happen.

Good Lord, there are some awful deals being signed today.

5 years for Orpik?
$2.9 million AAV for Engelland?

I'm almost glad the Hawks are right up against the cap.
