Does this mean the power play tactics will change? He was the special teams guy right? Cuz....I didn't think we played to our potential on either end of the PP.

He was the PP specialist coach but depending on Q, it might not change vastly. As much as Kompon was joked at, the PP was dreadful the year prior to his arrival. Even though it wasn't great the last two years it had been a step up.

The PP hasn't been dominant since 10-11 when they were #2 under Haviland and comically consistently step up one play of Toews/Kane along the corner setting up cross ice passes to the pinching defense spot usually Sharp. It worked nearly always, until game 7 in OT when Louongo stopped it. Then the next season teams were aware of it so they kept failing and needed to change but never have been consistent since.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Likely the most dominant hockey player in video game history, right there.

I always thought he was rigged. His ratings were good but guys like Lemieux or Gretzky were 99 across the board and Roenick was still better.
