They are expected to complete the Asik trade with the Pelicans and get a deal done involving Lin. Afterwards, they expect a commitment from Bosh and they will match the offer sheet for Parsons.

PG: Beverly
SG: Harden
SF: Parsons
PF: Bosh
C: Howard

Favorites in the west if this happens?

Spurs still win 8 vs 5 though.

Wow they have enough to sign Bosh and Parsons if they trade Lin? Huh...

I still like the Spurs, but imo that would easily vault them ahead of OKC.

Jonathan Feigen: If Rockets get Bosh and can do both in time, they'd match Parsons' offer sheet, per source. If don't get Bosh, tough, close call on Parsons. Twitter @Jonathan_Feigen

The Rockets could be disgusting next season. And of course the entire WC will be amazing. Really wish the Warriors would have gotten Love.

I think Parsons has a cap hold of ~1.8 million.

He is not that much if they can get Bosh in. They still have clearing to do. Asik+Kin+ another ~4 million. Did not run the number, I am just guessing since we don't know what Bosh is actually getting in his first season.

Clippers, Spurs, OKC all better.

If they keep Parsons and land Bosh, they will have a great lineup. They've been looking for a PF.

What's been said is they need to sign Bosh first then match parsons. I believe there is a difference in being able to sign your own FAs offering some cap flexibility and signing someone new. That's why they would have to do it in that order and what Bosh would do had to wait on what James decided.

Obviously they have a lot of weapons and expense in their starting 5, success will depend on who they can afford and attract to be the 5 off the bench at the minimum.

Especially one that can stretch the floor like Bosh. That really helps Dwight down low.

Pretty damn good team there.... But the West is loaded. Going to be a blast to watch.

I don't see Houston winning the West next year. Give them at least a full season and one playoff loss before they make it out of the West/win a title.

OKC, SAS, and LAC are also stacked with talent. And all have better coaching.
