The only next move to me is trying to trade for Love. Nothing else makes sense for this year. Offer them Boozer, Gibson, Snell, and one of next year's number ones for Love.

Bulls offseason is over.

When the Bulls signed Hinrich it was stated they used the "room MLE". That MLE is only used when a team is under the cap. This means that the Bulls are using the amnesty on Boozer. The cap space goes to Gasol and the Euro kid. Hinrich gets the MLE.

Done and Done. No exceptions left. No cap room. Unless a trade comes down the Bulls have league min left. I don't see Dunleavy getting traded because he is going to start at the 3.


The Bulls will probably look like this:

Rose
Butler
Dunleavy
Gasol
Noah

Bench
Hirich
Snell
McDermott
Taj
Euro Kid

Guys who don't see the court.

I will say this though. The Bulls would look a lot better if they had Aflalo right now starting at the 2.

OK a couple of things

Anthony Randolph has the provision attached that he can't be traded with another player until August 26. Do the Bulls shop around for a trading partner who will wait until then to make a bigger deal that will include Randolph and any of the non guaranteed contracts? Can they trade him right now for a trade exception or 2nd round pick to clear the space?
If they can shed his contract would they have an interest in Omri Cassipi who appears to be going to be released by NO?

Could OKC be interested in him as a backup 4 in exchange for Jeremy Lamb?
