Oki Doke, the dust is settling a little and Melo proved himself a money grubbin biotch, that wears panties. :flipa:

Anyhow, I like what the Bulls are doing. They said they were gonna make some moves, and they are. Their moves haven't been the most popular, but they appear to be part of a plan.

They want to bring in scoring and toughness. While some will balk at my 'toughness' comment, watching the SL team tells me that they are looking at some big guys.

However, every move they have made appears to have been an attempt to get better at scoring. The FO should get some credit for that, right?

Anyhow, after all this bullshit, it appears that the Bulls will be about $11 mil under the luxury tax with the figure being $76.8 mil. Go figure.

Rose$18,862,876
Noah$12,700,000Includes likely incentive
Gibson$8,000,000
Gasol$7,100,000Estimate
Mirotic$5,630,412Estimate
Dunleavy$3,326,235
Hinrich$2,732,000
McDermott$2,277,960120% of rookie slot
Butler$2,008,748
Snell$1,472,400
Bairstow$507,336
Minimum salary$915,243Vet Min
Hamilton$333,334Dead money
Total Salary$65,866,544

So it appears to me that the Bulls will sign a few more veteran minimum contracts and still won't be close to the luxury tax. The kicker is, if the Bulls are good this year, GarPax would have done a fuckin fantastic job! And Jerry gonna laugh all the way to the bank.

They did a good job with the salaries. We need every bit of flexibility we can get until we have that proven winner of a team.

Interesting to see McDermott makes more than Butler. Wonder what Butler will be able to get once his rookie contract wears out?

Roster Not Bad...Not sure if we are "CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDERS" but should be one of the favorites to win the EAST at least
