I just don't get Renteria with his Relievers..
Its only the 6th inning, I think james russell is capable of facing more then just 1 batter and he has been able to get RH out.
So now schlitter is pulled still in 6th and in comes another lefty

That injury he had likely set him back some. Ultimately, as long as you get decent defense out of C anything more should be viewed as bonus. Most view Castillo as pretty good defensively though I've seen suggestions he could be better at framing. Assuming he had played a full year at these rates you're still talking about a 2 WAR player which is average.

You keep saying this but it seems you have no point of reference. They are 11th in fWAR, 14th in ERA, 11th in FIP, 15th in xFIP, 17th in k/9, 22nd in bb/9, 8th in hr/9, 24th in strand rate, and 11th in IP. At the worst you can say they are average and walk too many batters who end up scoring because their strand rate is kind of crummy. If that's "bad" then I think you have entirely unrealistic expectations.
