Center? Re-think that one, please. We are good at point guard? We are anywhere decent at shooting guard? SF?

In the NBA, 7 or 8 players typically get 90+ percent of the minutes. Who are our top 7 or 8? The guys who should play 20+ minutes per game. I will give you the following who absolutely get 20+ minutes....... Rose, Noah, Gibson, and Gasol....... who is your next 3 or 4? Remember now, that we do need some guard play in there somehow. We have a guy, Butler who has pretty much played the entire game. Does that change? Are you going to play him at shooting guard exclusively because sre as hell there is a logjam at SF. Is he going to be the odd man out? With that mix, someone is going to get have to give up a lot of minutes and they still will not have a talent other than Rose at the guard position.

Rose and Brooks at the 1, Butler and Hinrich at the 2.

I am not seeing where this is confusing.

Poorly and very well...depends on the month apparently. Team seems to win games in spite of that.

This, simply put, is what I have been trying to say for awhile. And when you throw Brooks into it, it really is depressing.

Come-on, man. This isn't about the planets not being in alignment. Do either of these guys pass the eye test as shooters? These guys made it in the NBA as something else other than good shooters.

Actually, Hinrich came into the league as a good shooter.

That said, Hinrich hasn't been the best shooter the past couple years. He's been ok, but nothing really that special. Butler apparently is a flash in the pan shooter for all we know. Is that the answer you're looking for? I'm still confused how this screws up rotations..

Hinrich is an average 3 point shooter. He is ~38% for his career. He has been a decent 3 pointer shooter since returning to the Bulls. His overall FG% has been bad the last few years.

Hinrich playing 12 minutes a game and running the offense is not going to kill your team. He can hit open jumpers at an average clip and play decent defense.

His FG% has been pretty bad throughout his career save for like 2 or 3 seasons. It's just been extra bad lately.

Pretty much this

So other teams think Mirotic is worth two top-10 picks.

Sounds like a good reason to be excited that we have him.

No we have to temper our expectations or we'll be disappointed
