With the draft over and almost all of the name FAs getting signed(Bledsoe/Monroe will likely return to their teams) I thought we could get everyone's predictions for the regular season, playoffs, and season award winners.

West:
1.Spurs
2.Thunder
3.Clippers
4.Blazers
5.Rockets
6.Mavericks
7.Warriors
8.Suns

Spurs>Suns 4-0, Thunder>Warriors 4-1, Clippers>Mavericks 4-3, Blazers>Rockets 4-2
Spurs>Blazers 4-2, Thunder>Clippers 4-3
Spurs>Thunder 4-3

East:
1.Bulls
2.Cavaliers
3.Wizards
4.Pacers
5.Heat
6.Hornets
7.Raptors
8.Knicks

Bulls>Knicks 4-0, Cavaliers>Raptors 4-1, Wizards>Hornets 4-3, Pacers>Heat 4-2
Bulls>Heat 4-1, Cavaliers>Wizards 4-2
Bulls>Cavaliers 4-3

Spurs>Bulls 4-2

Regular season MVP: LeBron James
Finals MVP: Tim Duncan
ROY: Jabari Parker
COY: Thibbs
6th man: Taj Gibson
DPOY: LeBron James

My finals prediction is based on the assumption that Love doesn't end up in Cleveland and that Rose stays healthy.

I still see the Miami sweet making the playoffs, I'm not really sold on the pistons yet and as long as rose stays healthy this season I'll be satisfied I'm not even worried about a championship until we're in the playoffs past the first round

didnt notice you didnt have Miami in the playoffs...cant see them being less than 5th seed

i dont think the Knicks make it....that team is pretty bad and has a rookie head coach

they are also implementing the triangle which is gonna bring trial and error

I missed that, originally I had them as a 5th seed. I must have deleted it to move it around some more  I put the Knicks in there solely based on Carmelo Anthony. He's talented enough to take a bad team in a weak conference into the playoffs.

As for the 2nd shot creator, I think we're talented enough. The back-back Lakers didn't have a shot creator and they went to 3 straight finals and they had to go through the West  I'm expecting Gasol to have a major impact as I think his game is built to last through age.

So last season was...a fluke?

No faith in John Lucas III?

I can see winning 55 games and the #1 seed and by the time the playoffs start with players rested, getting secure in their roles no reason why they can't win it all.

Cleveland doesn't scare me at this point even with James or if they get Love because of their coach. No NBA experience at all and certainly no experience dealing with a superstar who the team has already catered to in signing Mike Miller, maybe Ray Allen and maybe trading for Love. There well could come a time where James disagrees with Blatt and thinks it's his team and a big blowup ensues. In Miami James had Wade and Riley and knew they had both won titles for the Heat without him. Jordan and Kobe and Shaq respected Phil because he had been there before as a player then a coach. This time James is the only one in Cleveland who has won an NBA title so he could pull the old 'I know how to do it and I'm the star' card some veterans side with him and there could be trouble.

I'll do one...why not

East
Cleveland
Chicago
Indiana
Washington
Miami
Toronto
Atlanta (only if Horford is healthy)
Charlotte
Brooklyn will get in if Atl gets the injury bug again

West
OKC
SA
LAC
Portland
GS
Houston
Dallas
Phoenix or Memphis...really no clue which one would make it over the other. Depends on Bledsoe staying or not.

Way too early to make predictions because free agency and trades are in no way over.

Surprised no one has the Nets in the Playoffs. Lionel Hollins is a a very good coach and the Nets have way more talent than the Pistons/Knicks/Hawks. The Nets will probably top 6 in the East. I could see them as high as 3.

They old...and they lost Pierce. Lot of unknowns

It's hard to exclude the Nets, but it's hard to exclude a few teams. The east looks very competitive in the middle of the pack, and historically when that happens, a few teams break out, while a few perennials collapse for a season.

I'm not sure if Duncan and Manu will hold up another season. Last year was probably all they had left in the tank.

We've been saying that for years...lol. Sooner or later they will have to break down.

Duncan has that old man game though. He can play for a couple more seasons, efficiently, imo. Manu on the other hand is a big unknown. Last year he looked completely finished and then came back this year to have a pretty good showing in the playoffs. It makes you wonder if Wade is truly at that point where hes gonna keep getting worse. I hope so.
