From here:

He starts off responding to a question about Jeremiah Ratliff:
I think he brings a mentality that's balls-to-the-wall. He plays angry and nasty, and that's what you want from your defensive line. You want defensive linemen who don't use knives and forks, they eat everything with their hands. You want to find guys who are close to being barbarians who are a little further from civilization. We try to get the ones that could still be nomadics that are part of the nomad tribes instead of the ones who are civilized who live in the city.

However true this might be figuratively, it's still amusing! I bet he's going to get seriously razzed in the locker room for this.

At least he gives reporters something to talk about other than the method by which Cutler sits on the bench

How some people don't like Bennett is beyond me. Guys a fucking riot and I'm sure his teammates love him.

Man I love this guy. He comes up with some crazy shit.

But also notice that he's always positive, always on the field, rarely gets hurt, does his job well. He's been a great signing.

My favorite comment from him came after OTAs when he had been mixing it up with the defense line: "Aint a ounce of bitch in me."

That has always been Peppers' problem. If he had Jared Allen's mentality he would've already broken every sack record possible.

"Pardon me for getting a grass stain on your nice white jersey. My teammates require that I gather sacks however. My apologies and best of luck on the next play. I have my quota for the day"
